Strategic Marketing Consulting

Marketing that works
at the leadership level

Considered Clarity works with founders and CEOs of rapidly scaling businesses where the marketing is either underperforming, because the strategic foundations aren't in place, or because the team simply doesn't exist yet.

B2B scale-ups often outgrow their early marketing model before they realise it. Considered Clarity works to build the foundations that turn fast growth into sustainable growth:
ICP clarity. Commercial alignment. Functional structure. Spend discipline. The conditions that make everything else work.

Not an agency. Not a hire. An experienced marketing director who works alongside your leadership team, with the objectivity that only comes from sitting outside the business. A critical friend, who's been in the trenches and can help you navigate the challenges of scaling marketing without losing momentum or creativity.

When growth overtakes your marketing function

Scale-ups move fast. Marketing often grows reactively: more headcount, more tools, more spend, without the strategic foundations that make it commercially effective.

Considered Clarity diagnoses where the function is struggling, blocking, or underperforming and works alongside your leadership team to fix it. That means understanding your customers, your market, and your commercial model, then building the clarity and structure that accelerates growth.

Strategic and operational consulting for marketing leadership. The thinking and structure that sits above execution. Not a replacement of your team, but a temporary helping hand to set them up, get them running and empower them to thrive.

ICP & Positioning

Deep understanding of who your customers are, what drives their decisions, what conditions result in inertia, truly listening and shaping the strategy accordingly.

Commercial Alignment

Marketing must be seen as a critical revenue driver, worthy of a seat at the table. Connecting marketing, sales, revenue, customer success and product is crucial to this success.

Functional Structure

Building a marketing function that can scale relies on a solid foundation with the right people, the right processes, and the right tactics for your stage of growth.

Spend Discipline

Scrutinising where budget is going, why and whether it's working. Testing, reviewing and redirecting investment to what actually drives results.

"I have a passion for bringing clarity, structure, and commercial discipline to fast-moving organisations where teams need to mature without losing momentum."

I was the Global Director of Marketing at Servers.com, a privately held global infrastructure business serving enterprise B2B clients across gaming, adtech, fintech and SaaS. I built the marketing function from the ground up, creating GTM foundations, leading a full rebrand, rediscovering ICPs across all verticals, and navigating the team through a private equity acquisition at a valuation of around $200m.

Prior to that, I was Head of Special Projects at the same business, brought in specifically because growth had outpaced marketing operations. I introduced delivery structure, implemented Monday.com, and led a major website migration. That operational grounding shapes how I work as a consultant: objective, outcome-focused and persistent.

Earlier in my career I spent a decade in policing and national public sector communications, environments that taught me calm judgement, resilience, and the kind of direct, principled approach that scale-up leadership teams need from a critical friend.

I founded Considered Clarity to bring that combination; strategic marketing expertise, operational rigour, and genuine objectivity, to founders and CEOs who are scaling fast and need someone to get the marketing function in shape, without distracting them from the primary objective: growth.
